Bells Rapids Park Lookout

Excellent place to visit, perhaps have a picnic as many others do. Great to see the Avon River flowing well. A fun and challenging drive for some.

I love taking my dogs on adventures and this is one of their favourite places. Up and down the banks, in and out the water. Hiked the goat track and they had another dip. Morning well spent

Beautiful view of the valley, but despite signs along the route NOTHING indicates you have reached the lookout.

Awesome view over Perth . Sad that the building got trashed by vandals . Would be the perfect spot to have a good coffee !!

Such a hidden gem. I've lived in Perth for about 15 years spent half of my life here but I don't agree with people saying perth has nothing to offer. Well they should make an effort to search and get themselves out there more often! This was one of the wow place we've ever been that's close by metro. Mind you road into the park is bit narrow and look out is on top of the hill and has very limited space for parking your cars. Other than do try the actual park which is located right underneath the hill. Perfect for weekend morning tracking.

Great but the look out can be missed when driving up. Beautiful view

Early morning you’ll have the place all to yourself. Nice to just sit on an rock and meditate or read a book with the sound of the waterfall. Lovely to see so many families visiting as well. This time of the year the waterfall at its best.

It's a beautiful scenic drive all the way up the hill. Only a small parking area on the side of the road. What a magnificent veiw.

A great view down the valley towards the rapids, with walks and natural view points.There is a swing, for those instagram perfect pictures.A lot less tourists that down, at the actual rapids and after a good walk it's easy to drop down into the Swan Valley for a beer.Downfalls are some of the tracks aren't accessible for less mobile people, as most don't appear to be maintained tracks. My kids decided to run down the hill and plough themselves into the gravel face first, so take care if you have little ones!Probably the big let down is the abandoned building, that would be a perfect café.Having said that, it doesn't need those facilities to be enjoyed.
